Situated on Old Brompton Road, London, Ramusake is South Kensington’s latest dining establishment which is fast becoming the talk of the Capital.

Ramusake has been expertly designed to provide guests with a fun, relaxed, local hangout with a late night eating and drinking offering and is proving very popular with diners.

The new venture – from Piers Adam and Scott Hallsworth – opened on Wednesday 17th September to excellent feedback and serves up delicious dishes alongside a fantastic choice of drinks. Casual attire is the dress code of choice and with reservations available Ramusake is the perfect destination for group bookings.

Ramusake’s dedicated Facebook page is a clear indication of the venue’s popularity with the amount of ‘likes’ it’s receiving continuing to climb. Meanwhile, Esquire has given Ramusake a big thumbs up, with a recent review noting that, “there’s really no excuse to head anywhere else.”

The team behind Ramusake have vast experience in the industry, having been instrumental in some of the biggest and most dynamic clubs and restaurants of recent years. Piers Adam is the nightlife supremo behind the Hanover Grand, Mahiki, Whisky Mist and Bodo’s Schloss, whilst Scott Hallsworth is the talented ex head chef of Nobo and the equally popular Japanese restaurant, Kurobuta.

Speaking about Ramusake, Piers Adam, said:

“I’m so excited about this concept; it seems so relevant to the area – finally a place in the Royal Borough that has a touch of Soho and Shoreditch.”

Co-owner, Scott Hallsworth, said:

“I’ve been dying to work on something like this for ages now. I’ve had a back catalogue of dishes that needed a home like this and when we unleash them with a touch of Piers Adam magic, there’s going to be some seriously unprecedented late night action going on.”

WDS London was the design studio behind Ramusake, which perfectly balances style and space to provide an inviting interior. The use of raw materials throughout really helps to create a cosy urban atmosphere and a true highlight is the patterned LEDs which have been installed into the reclaimed timber ceiling as well as the slate pocket walls which are filled with lanterns.

Louise White of WDS London, said:

“I had previously worked with Scott, so when he told me about the new concept I jumped at the chance to be involved in the presentation process. The concept of Japanese Izakaya style food mixed with a speakeasy style vibe in great location instantly grabbed my attention.”

Louise added:

“I felt very privileged to be a part of the design process, with two powerhouses Scott Hallsworth and Piers Adam behind the concept it was an opportunity not to be missed. They came up with a fantastic concept and I was thrilled to be able to help them make it come to life.”
