Fast-food brand Suchef has opened their fifth store in London city centre, offering customers restaurant-quality dishes to enjoy during their busy day-to-day routines.

The brand already operates successful stores in St Paul’s, Farringdon, Aldgate and Old Street, with its newest venue located on Fetter Lane moments from Chancery Lane tube station.

Suchef, who believe the fast food offering is the underdog of the leisure industry, are keen for on-the-go customers to be able to enjoy delicious, high-quality and healthy food in spite of their busy lifestyles. The brand focuses on seasonal, simple hot and cold dishes with a gourmet twist combining flavours that are sure to set your taste buds-a-tingling. The majority of the food at Suchef is cooked using sous vide technology to seal in the flavour without damaging the nutritional element of the food.

Premier Hospitality caught up with Kerry Burnett, the Commercial Manager at GS Contracts who acted as the main contractors on the scheme. Kerry told us that the firm have been involved with Suchef since they unveiled their first branch and are pleased to be working with the brand again on their latest venture.

He commented:
“From our point of view Suchef is an exciting new brand and is a relatively new idea in terms of food delivery, which is always exciting to be involved with. As a company G S Contracts is pleased to be involved with Suchef’s fifth venue and we are enjoying helping the chain develop and expand.”

Works began on site in March this year and were completed in an impressive four week project. The project has involved the renovation of the ground floor and basement of an existing structure, which previously was the home of Pret A Manger.

The team have stripped out all of the fittings and finishes left by Prêt including the themed walls and floors, and then began refitting the venue with Suchef fittings. Working in line with the clients design the team have adapted the existing Suchef brand design in terms of colour schemes and finishes in order to meet the particular requirements of that building.

At the front of the venue a large fridge display has been fitted offering customers the chance to see Suchef’s chilled offering before they get to the counter.

The brand appeals to the professional lunch-time market offering affordable and healthy meat, fish and slow cooked vegetable meals. Hungry customers can choose from a plethora of set meals with ingredients including British chicken fillet, Scottish salmon fillet, basmati rice, egg noodles, quinoa rice mix, as well as numerous sauces such as tangy spiced tomato, coconut, lemon & coriander, Japanese katsu curry, cream cheese & coconut or gluten free teriyaki.

SuHot dishes are also available served together in one, hot pot dish offering diners a quick hunger solution that is big on flavour. Green Thai Vegetable, Chicken and Lentil Dhansak and Indonesian Chilli Ginger Pork are all on offer along with a generous serving of basmati rice. Suchef’s varied menu also offers SuSalad Boxes, as well as seasonal soups, wraps, mini bites, desserts, blended smoothies and juices.

Suchef recently celebrated the coming of spring at their St Paul’s and Farringdon branches by offering 50% off food to all customers. The Spring Madness initiative attracted floods of customers who enjoyed discounted Suchef delicacies and there are plans to do the same to celebrate the launch of the new Fetter Lane store.
