Dear readers,

Welcome to the latest edition of Premier Hospitality.

In this month’s issue we head to Manchester to check out Suburbia; we take a look round Malmaison Newcastle; and we cast our eye over Skyfall in Hove.

Located at 4a Ridgefield, in the heart of Manchester City Centre, Suburbia is a fantastic new club serving up warm hospitality, a choice selection of drinks and a funky 1920s-style vibe. Taking its cue from the prohibition era, the basement club is the second site in the Suburbia collection and joins the extremely successful Suburbia Hale in Cheshire.

Tom Thornton-Brookes, Owner of Suburbia, said:

“I set out to make Suburbia Manchester a fun place to be and I believe this comes across in what we do and the design we have used. We’re a modern take on the old fashioned idea of going out to have a drink and a dance, and we never pretend to be anything other than what we are.”

Meanwhile, Malmaison Newcastle has undergone a refreshing refurbishment, taking the hotel’s bar, restaurant and bedrooms to a new level of luxury. The refurbishment project was in progress from January through to March of this year, resulting in an entirely new look for the hotel bar and restaurant, newly decorated bedrooms and a lick of paint for the reception space. Malmaison Newcastle is a 122 bedroom boutique hotel situated at Newcastle’s Quayside. The hotel spans seven floors, with the top floor exclusively home to the hotel’s ship yard inspired suites.

And finally, Brighton and Hove welcome a new addition to the dining scene with the recent opening of SkyFall. Offering a burger and lobster style menu, the latest opening is set to take Hove’s hospitality industry by storm. Guy Piper Architects worked in harmony with the hospitality brand Barrow and Thomas Restaurants to create a live music lounge with a perfect mix of fine wines and champagnes, a modern interior, high quality food complemented with outstanding customer service. Guy Piper Architects began refurbishment works for SkyFall in May and the project completed at the end of July.

With all this and more, it’s time to sit back and tuck into another helping of Premier Hospitality.

Enjoy!

Alex
