Martin Terry, Senior Site Manager of a brand new housing development in Epsom Downs, Surrey has been awarded an NHBC Pride in the Job Award.
The award is for the Chestnut Way development in the well loved rural area of Epsom Downs.
Speaking to Premier Construction after receiving the award, Martin Terry of Denton Homes said:
“I’m really happy to have won the award; it means I’ve been doing something right in the very long time I’ve been in the construction industry. In 2008 I was made redundant by a previous employer and thought that would be the end but along came Denton Homes; they’re a great company to work for. We’re only a small company but are looking to expand and so winning the award means a lot not only to me, but to everyone at Denton Homes.”
The development consists of 11 properties; five detached and six semi detached homes. Works began in August of last year and are set to complete at the beginning of September.
The homes briefly consist of a hallway and cloakroom, a lounge and dining area, kitchen, bathroom, three bedrooms with one en suite. Externally the houses have driveways for two cars, back gardens, high fences and landscaped fronts.
