This Month in Premier Hospitality 6.6

Welcome to the latest edition of Premier Hospitality.

In this month’s issue we take a look at a couple of new additions to the DoubleTree portfolio, including DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow; we showcase the spectacular Belle Vue Brighton; and we tuck in at Margot.

One of Hilton’s most successful brands has continued its expansion into Scotland with the opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow. Having undergone an extensive £11 million refurbishment the new hotel, located in the heart of the city, welcomed its first guests at the end of September after approximately a year and a half of work. With 300 modern guest rooms, including three fully equipped suites, DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow is owned and managed by Amaris Hospitality and joined Hilton’s Scottish portfolio of 16 properties.

Meanwhile, one of the newest and most exciting restaurants in Sussex, The Belle Vue Brighton is a destination brasserie located at the base of the spectacular new British Airways i360 tower on Brighton seafront. The world’s tallest moving observation tower, British Airways i360 is a gleaming 162-metre-tall vertical tower which opened in August 2016. Eleven years in the making from design to reality, British Airways i360 is the brainchild of architect-entrepreneurs David Marks and Julia Barfield of Marks Barfield Architects, best known as the practice that conceived and designed the world-famous London Eye.

And finally, creating a relaxed but elegant and luxurious environment, drawing strongly on classic Italian design influences, Margot, the new London Italian restaurant is the smart new place to be seen in Covent Garden, London. Inspired by the some of the great Italian influences of celebrated architects and designers and the homely Italian family kitchens of times gone by, the stylish interior is set across a ground and lower ground floor and basement, each dining room with its own dining room identity. The venue, currently proving extremely popular, is owned by former Bar Boulud Maitre’d Paulo de Tarso and Nicolas Jaouen, the former manager of La Petite Maison.

With all this and more, it’s time to sit back and tuck into another helping of Premier Hospitality.

Enjoy!
