First edition of Premier Hospitality International 1.1

Welcome to the first edition of Premier Hospitality International – our hospitality focus that celebrates projects worldwide. Our very first issue is crammed full of fantastic projects, ranging from the Drawing Hotel and Lanzerac Spa to Andaz Mayakoba Resort Riviera Maya and beyond.

As the name suggests, the Drawing Hotel is a venue inspired by art – providing guests at the boutique hotel with a culturally enriching experience. Conceived by Carine Tissot, the Drawing Hotel is located in the heart of Paris and boasts 48 rooms. Artistic contributions from a number of sources are central to what makes the Drawing Hotel unique and each of the hotel’s five floors has been designed by a different artist, incorporating different styles and colours.

Meanwhile, the newly refurbished Lanzerac Spa offers a place of luxury, restoration and sheer indulgence in the heart of the Cape Winelands of South Africa. As part of the large-scale refurbishment of the grand and historic Lanzerac Wine Estate, the Lanzerac Spa has been completely rebuilt and re-imagined. The newly redesigned building, which overlooks the towering Jonekershoek Mountains and is nestled against rows of lush vineyards, offers superior amenities and unrivalled views, while establishing itself as a leader in health and wellness on the Stellenbosch Wine Route.

And finally, a spectacular new ‘hidden’ tropical paradise set in 590 acres of idyllic oceanfront, Andaz Mayakoba Resort Riviera Maya in Mexico is a place where sophisticated style meets nature. Opened in December 2016, the new resort is an addition to the internationally acclaimed eco-resort Mayakoba, located on the Caribbean beachfront just north of Playa del Carmen. The inspiring setting transports guests into a lush natural environment where locally inspired and indigenous experiences, cuisine and personalised service is brought to life. Set in idyllic preserved mangrove and lagoon surroundings, the new resort has 214 guest rooms, including 41 suites.

With all this and more it’s time to sit back and marvel at all of the great projects across the world, courtesy of Premier Hospitality International.
