Skyline at Corio – New apartments enhance Bermondsey skyline

Skyline at Corio is an exclusive collection of luxury apartments on the site of the historic Grange Tannery in Grange Walk, Bermondsey, offering residents a premium lifestyle with incredible views of London’s skyline.

This development, by Linden Homes South East, offers everything from intelligent design to outstanding additional amenities, with each element having been tailored to provide maximum comfort and convenience.

Vlad Gryniv of Linden Homes, project manager for the scheme said: “The development comprises four blocks, with external elevations in a combination of different elements including brickwork, cladding and a mix of brown and green roofing incorporating solar panelling.

“Initial works included demolition of the original building on the site and the excavation of new foundations during which a World War II bomb was discovered, which meant that the site and some of the surrounding houses had to be evacuated.

“This was also a very challenging project logistically, in terms of working to a very demanding programme. In addition, I took over as project manager 11 months prior to completion and so quick familiarisation with the scheme and integration with the site team was essential. This motivated me to work even harder to ensure that everything was completed on schedule.”

The apartments are built to a superior specification and have top quality finishing touches. Bright, light and spacious open-plan living space is complemented with sleek integrated kitchens that include premium composite stone worktops for the ultimate urban abode.

Every home has its own private balcony or terrace, many with views of prestigious London landmarks including the Shard.

City workers will benefit from the development’s 24-hour concierge service, while secure private underground parking, at an additional cost, removes the issue of finding a parking space every day.

The building is surrounded by beautiful landscaped gardens incorporating water features and seating.

The position of Skyline means residents will enjoy a tranquil location but be in the City in just a few minutes by foot.

The homes are surrounded by impressive shopping destinations and cultural attractions, including popular ‘foodie’ destination Borough Market, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, the Tate Modern and The National Theatre.

Claire Gibbins, Linden Homes South East Sales and Marketing Director, said: “Skyline at Corio is a superb collection of homes that are perfect for busy professionals who spend a lot of time in the City, but want somewhere peaceful to retreat to that’s close by and still retains excellent transport links.”

The project commenced in 2015.
