Drayton Garden Village

Located on a site previously used by the Royal Air Force, Drayton Garden Village will provide 773 residential units when completed as well as an 80-bed care home, a medical centre and four retail units. Set in an eco-friendly neighbourhood, Drayton Garden Village offers residents a quintessentially modern living experience.

The development’s final phase by Bellway Homes is now available with only 23 one, two and three-bedroom apartments remaining on the market, all of which will be ready to move into this winter. Designed with ‘Garden City’ principles in mind, the development is characterised by its open spaces, tree-lined walkways, energy-saving technology and landscaped communal gardens.

Jody Bryant, Sales Manager at Bellway Homes North London, comments: “We have been amazed at how quickly these homes have sold, but at the same time, we are not surprised given the many merits this development has. West Drayton is such a wonderful area to live in and has a real community feel. As we now release our final phase of apartments, we would urge anyone who is interested to get in touch quickly to avoid disappointment.”

The development is not the only evidence of the West Drayton’s recent regeneration. The town is now host to a variety shops, eateries and supermarkets, while the nearby Stockley Business Park has attracted the interest of leading international businesses and is home to a golf club, nursery, beauty salon and fitness centre.

Lovers of the outdoors will thoroughly enjoy being just a five-minute drive from Colne Valley Regional Park. The area comprises a number of adjacent areas, including farmland, woodland and more than 60 lakes. Spanning across a magnificent 27,500 acres, the park offers a variety of nature trails, cycle routes and water sports. Horse riding, golf and boat trips along the Union Canal can also be enjoyed in the area.

West Drayton train station can be reached quickly on foot from Drayton Garden Village where direct services to London Paddington, the West End and Canary Wharf can be taken advantage of in just over 30 minutes. The arrival of Crossrail in 2019 is set to further improve transport connections, with 12 more trains expected to run per hour during peak times. Residents can also benefit from easy access to major roads, including the M4 and M25. Heathrow Airport is located just a six-minute drive away.

The project’s continued successful progress was recently recognised with a NHBC Pride in the Job Award for project manager Chandra Kancham. The award recognises both the complexity of the work and the high skill level required to see it through. Chandra comments: “I am very proud to receive a Pride in the Job Quality Award, which I accept on behalf of the whole team at Drayton Garden Village.

“It is an outstanding achievement to receive recognition from the NHBC, not just because of the reputation the award holds with in this industry, but also because it has shown that our hard work and dedication to build quality homes has not gone unnoticed.”
