Ramboll Bolsters Senior Team With Five New Hires

Engineering, design and consultancy company Ramboll has announced the appointment of five senior figures across various sectors of the business, including an addition to the UK Leadership Team, Chris Fry.

Chris previously held the role of Managing Director at Temple Group and joins Ramboll as Director for Infrastructure and Regeneration within its Environment & Health division. Chris will be tasked with supporting major transport infrastructure and urban regeneration programmes. Following his previous roles, Chris has experience across a number of sectors including rail, highways, energy and renewables, water management and sustainable cities. He previously trained as an expert consultant in impact assessment for infrastructure products.

Jon Harding joins Ramboll’s transport division as Highways Market Director. He joins from CH2M and has over 25 years of experience as a chartered civil engineer. He previously held the role of Client Account Director for Highways England at CH2M, responsible for developing and overseeing the implementation of major sales opportunities and establishing and guiding strategic bid teams. He was also charged with overseeing a varied portfolio of projects, ranging from highway management operations to organisational leadership.

Also appointed as Director in the Buildings division is Adam Selvey who strengthens the Building Services team. Adam joins from WSP with over 26 years’ experience in the design of mechanical, electrical and public health services. He brings huge experience and passion in sustainable, innovative and digital design solutions and has worked on a number of high profile projects such as The Birmingham Bull Ring, Liverpool One and The Mall of Egypt. Adam will join the Birmingham office, where his appointment marks a period of continued expansion in the region.

The company has also added two other members to its senior Environment & Health team, with the appointment of Nick Howard as a Principal Consultant and joint lead of its Compliance, Strategy and Transaction practice within the UK, and Steve King as a Principal Consultant in its Impact Assessment practice. Nick joins from AECOM with vast experience in delivering global transactions and compliance support. With extensive knowledge of environmental permitting and planning, Steve joins from RSK Consulting and brings with him international experience, having worked in Africa and South East Asia.
