Stoke-on-Trent Window Company Raises Over £900 in Christmas Fundraising Campaign
Written by Amy

A Stoke-on-Trent window company has raised £922 in a festive fundraising campaign for three local charities.

Target Windows, based in Meir Heath, turned to social media to raise money for The Donna Louise children’s hospice, mental health not-for-profit Brighter Futures, and the Douglas Macmillan Hospice.

Director Guy Basnett said: “Our #GiveWithTarget campaign raised an amazing £651 for The Donna Louise, £250 for The Dougie Mac and £21 for Brighter Futures. We’d like to say thank you to everyone who took part and wish our customers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.”

Joshua Slater, Partnerships Manager for The Donna Louise, said: “We really appreciate not only the money raised by Target Windows, but also the exposure this has created for the charity from their successful social media campaign. We were overwhelmed by the response and it’s heart-warming to see the local community supporting us and a local business.”

The campaign, called #GiveWithTarget, included quiz questions and funny photos where engagement generated donations. The company, which has showrooms in Stone and Uttoxeter, is planning on taking part in a Three Peaks Challenge for The Donna Louise next summer.
