This Month in Premier Hospitality 10.2

Welcome to the latest edition of Premier Hospitality.

In this month’s issue we look ahead to Hotel 360; we check out The Berkeley Bar & Terrace; and we unveil The Colony Club.

Transforming London’s ExCeL into the ULTIMATE hub for hospitality innovation on the 18th & 19th September, Hotel360 is all set to assert its position as the UK’s leading hospitality event dedicated to increasing hotel profitability!

All under one roof, industry experts will provide ambitious visitors with their secrets to success; whilst an array of some of the most innovative suppliers in the hotel sector will showcase the solutions that are forming the future of the ever-evolving industry, all for FREE!

The Berkeley in Knightsbridge is showcasing an elegant new addition, with the opening of The Berkeley Bar & Terrace. This is the second bar at the hotel, joining the legendary Blue Bar which opened in 2000.

With a rich design story conceived by Irish interior designer Bryan O’Sullivan, key features of The Berkeley Bar key include a half-moon marble bar, a central fireplace and a hideaway Snug. The central material in the design story is an exquisite walnut wood. Taken from a 300-year-old tree felled from the Fulbeck Estate, Lincolnshire in the great storm of 2007, the grain is extraordinarily complex and beautiful.

The glamorous Mayfair Colony Club Casino has re-opened after a lavish £4 million investment, with an opulent new interior including a new private members’ club and a sumptuous, re-designed gaming floor.

Located in one of the most elegant spaces off Park Lane, The Colony Club Casino is owned by Genting Casinos. The stunning new interiors were created by Dakota: House of Design. The club’s new look gaming floor reflects the effortless marrying of tasteful opulence and contemporary style, whilst retaining the remarkable welcome and service of old.

With all this and more it’s time to sit back and tuck into another helping of Premier Hospitality. Go well!
