Media Sales – Full Time Position
Here at Roma Publications we have a new, exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Media Sales Executive, based in our Rochdale office.
As a Media Sales Executive you will be part of a busy, exciting and vibrant Advertising Sales team playing an important role in ensuring the continued success and reputation of the magazines we publish in a physical and digital format.
The candidate doesn’t necessarily need previous experience in sales – attitude and the ability to succeed are key requirements.
The primary role is to contact companies within the trade industry sectors to offer a free article to promote their business or project within our national magazine.
You will then be required to sell advertising space to the key companies involved in the projects which will feature alongside the articles – this will lead to you achieving your targets and bonuses.
The ideal candidate for the role will have the following attributes;
- A strong background within a sales environment (telesales or retail experience)
- Be able to work on their own initiative (sourcing leads and following them through)
- Good organisation skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Be able to hit and exceed targets set out by the management team
- Be able to work well as part of a team and share best practises
