Following the success of this property, Middle England Developments paid £1.8 million to administrators Deloitte for Crete Tower and Canadia Tower and then invested an additional £3.4 million to transform the buildings into new accommodation.
Split across the two blocks, Middle England Developments gave the buildings a complete overhaul to create 128 three-bedroom apartments. The blocks proved to be another success for Middle England Developments and sold out within three days, providing investors with an instant return on their investments.
Middle England Development’s latest site is The Richmond, 51 serviced apartments situated on Hatton Garden, Liverpool. Once work is complete on the project, the new development promises to become the most exclusive venue in the city.
Currently scheduled to open in March 2013, The Richmond boasts free Wi-Fi, smart TVs, a secretarial service and on call bar tenders. Planning permission was granted for the building in July 2012 and work began shortly afterwards.
Located within the iconic Richmond Building – formerly the Mersey Rail Building – in the heart of Liverpool, The Richmond provides spacious one, two and three bedroom suites. In addition, Middle England Developments is also working with Core Digital Media, Bond-Media and leading furniture manufacturer YTM Group to develop the correct style and brand for The Richmond.
