Situated off Crescent Road, Crumpsall, the Charminster Drive development is the latest housing scheme from leading property specialists The Kingsley Group.
Since its establishment in 1994 the Kingsley Group has been offering a range of services from asset finance to commercial and residential developments and lettings.
The primary focus of the group is on the acquisition and assembly of land for the delivery of turnkey housing developments. The process begins when the client identifies the area and type of housing that they require. From there, Kingsley source development opportunities to suit a client’s need.
By involving the client from the beginning, even before the land is acquired, there is a genuine opportunity for all involved to work together and create something that works for the tenants, the client and the developer alike.
The Charminster Drive development comprises construction of 34 houses along with associated works and car parking. The new build properties on the £3.4 million development in Greater Manchester include curtain walling, brick and reconstituted stonework cladding, as well as aluminium framed UPVC windows and doors. Meanwhile external finishes include wall tiling and dry lining along with pitched roofing.
Internally each unit will include carpets, a range of fixtures and fittings and modern security detection and alarm systems.
To complete the project, external landscaping work will also take place and will include a mix of concrete paving and soft landscaping, with the installation of a car park to allow for up to 59 vehicles.
MJ Fellows Building Contractors Limited is the main contractor on the Charminster Drive development, whilst Kirkman Architects is providing all architectural services on the site. Kirkman Architects has a great reputation for providing clients with a full service, taking a scheme from the initial design right through to handover.
Walsh & Evans Plastering Contractors is heavily involved in the Charminster Drive development and is responsible for the interior fit-out works, as well as ceilings and wall finishes. Contract Brickwork is the external walls subcontractor, whilst Home Gas Supplies is the plumbing, heating and ventilation subcontractor on the site.
