Opened in autumn last year, Harvey Nichols Beauty Bazaar in Liverpool ONE offers a wealth of products, brands and services, all housed within a cutting-edge, luxurious and opulent environment.

Utilising an impressive 22,000 sq ft of prime retail space, the store extends across three floors in the heart of Liverpool’s fashion hub. The ground floor offers a diverse array of beauty, skincare and fragrance brands which will underpin what will be the ultimate, indulgent beauty experience.

Established international brands including ChanelYSL and Estée Lauder and exclusives to Liverpool such as Tom Ford BeautyNARSCrème de la Mer and Shu Uemura will sit alongside the niche, new and contemporary, including M.A.C, BobbiBrown, JoMaloneSisleyLauraMercier, Shiseido, DermalogicaBliss and Escentric Molecules.

The first floor of the store will be dedicated to open treatment services, including Mark Woolley’s Electric Hair Lounge, a Blink Brow Bar and a Lash and Nail Bar. Harvey Nichols Beyond Beauty, BeautyMART, Carita, ESPA and The Organic Pharmacy, all exclusives in Liverpool, will also enjoy dedicated areas within this space.

The star attraction on the first floor will be an exclusive and lavish champagne and cocktail bar, an all day destination in its own right.  The floor to ceiling glass frontage ensures it will be the new place to see and be seen.

Take a dedicated express lift to the second floor for a more discreet range of treatments in designated private areas including, unisex waxing by STRIP and spray tanning, whilst Karidis MediSpa will cover more specialist services including teeth whitening, permanent makeup, botox, fillers and body contouring treatments.

Guaranteed to inspire, the Beauty Bazaar will represent the UK’s only all encompassing, glossy beauty destination, that welcomes all customers to purchase their own piece of luxury.

Leading London-based graphic and interior design agency, Four IV, were appointed to deliver the cutting-edge retail space. Founding partner Chris Dewar-Dixon said:

Harvey Nichols was founded in 1831 and is today the UK’s premier fashion retailer, renowned both in the UK and internationally for the breadth and depth of its exclusive fashion merchandise. It offers many of the world’s most prestigious brands in womenswear, menswear, accessories, beauty and food.

Portview is a universal fit-out specialist, project managing interior fit-out and refurbishment contracts for some of the world’s biggest brands across the UK and Ireland.

Since its establishment in 1975 the company has grown considerably, with 2010 and 2011 being consecutive record years for turnover.

The company now works on projects ranging from high end retailers in Knightsbridge to Museums in Derry to Offices in Milton Keynes to Restaurants in airports

Most recently the firm carried out works on Harvey Nichols’ new offering in Liverpool ONE, Beauty Bazaar. Speaking about the development, Director Simon Campbell said:

“Working with designers Four IV we translated their vision for Harvey Nichols into reality taking the empty shell and creating the finished environment ready for the final concession installations.  It was a challenge but one we relished; it was a high end concept so the standard of workmanship and materials had to be first class.”

Hadley Shopfitters

With nearly a century in business, quality workmanship is an essential to Portsmouth based Hadley Shopfitters.

The company specialises in bespoke joinery and metalwork, operating mainly in the premium end of the shop fitting market with clients such as Harvey Nichols, John Lewis and Aston Martin.

Most recently the firm carried out bespoke work on Harvey Nichols’ new offering in Liverpool, the Beauty Bazaar. Speaking about the works carried out, Business Development Manager, Leigh Rowsell said:

“We carried out the specialist shop fitting on the Beauty Bazaar, any item that was unusual or challenging we undertook- from Diamond shaped panelling on the escalators and specialist column finishes to the bespoke tables in the bar area and the wall displays of the perfumery.

“We worked very closely with designers Four IV on the project this ensured the contract was carried out in accordance with the clients’ wishes, on time and in budget.”

When asked what Hadley Shopfitters pride themselves on, Leigh added:

“We pride ourselves on the quality of our workmanship; nothing leaves the factory without going past the Managing Director first, quality is key for us.”

CNG Foodservice Equipmen

CNG is a multi award winning supplier and designer of kitchens, bars and serveries. The company mainly specialise in high end hotels, restaurants and bars and have retained many high profile clients for decades.

Most recently the company completed works on the Beauty Bazaar in Liverpool ONE for long term client Harvey Nichols. CNG were appointed to design and supply the bar and preparation support area for the bar.

When asked about the development, Managing  Director Clive Groom said: “As with all projects and clients I’m pleased to have been involved and to have seen the initial concept through to completion.”

When asked what CNG prides itself on, Clive added: “CNG are a multi award winning company who supply leading hoteliers, restaurateurs and other catering outlets such as visitor centres with the very best solutions.

“Over the years we’ve become used to designing and supplying kitchens and bars in some challenging locations, many basements, a kitchen in a first floor conservatory and a tree house amongst others. Our team of hard working, dedicated and talented professionals always strive to listen to the clients brief, challenge anything that they feel needs clarification or might not be in the client’s best interest but always delivering well designed, functional projects.”
