Aubaine comes to Hampstead

Aubaine Restaurant Hampstead

Ideally located just a short walk from the Heath in the heart of Hampstead Village, Aubaine Hampstead is a highly relaxed dining experience.

Like every restaurant in the Aubaine portfolio – seven in total – Aubaine Hampstead combines the elegance of a Parisian salon with the relaxed ambience of a Provençal bistro.

Aubaine Hampstead opened its doors during the first week of March 2013. The design of the 75-cover restaurant has remained true to the character of the building and retains many of the site’s original features.

Exclusive to Aubaine Hampstead is a first floor indoor garden, which brings the outside in! The indoor garden can accommodate up to 25 seated guests or 40 standing guests, with room for a further eight diners in a separate external seating area.

Guests can enjoy the added experience of watching the chefs hard at work via the site’s open kitchen. Breakfast combines French classics with innovative dishes, from croissants to the decadent lobster egg imperial, whilst in the evenings the restaurant takes on a more intimate feel, with dishes such as Lobster spaghetti with tomato and basil, and roast rack of lamb with nicoise garnish.

Aubaine Hampstead’s menu also includes corn fed chicken supreme with heritage carrots, broad beans and wild garlic, and roast pollock with ratatouille and pea purée. Meanwhile the restaurant can provide a unique event space, which can be tailored to each guest.

In addition to its exceptional French food, Aubaine has made a name for itself through its boulangerie and patisserie, providing all day French dining. Using traditional methods, original recipes and fresh ingredients Aubaine’s boulangerie produces everything from classic baguettes to pains au chocolat, whilst the pâtisserie provides pastries and gateaux.

Superb food, urban yet rustic interiors and personable service give Aubaine and air of relaxed sophistication and aura of chic. Evolving from the quest to find perfect French bread in London, Aubaine still holds true to its philosophy of simple luxury: ‘simplicité c’est beauté.’
