River Island- Church Street near Liverpool One

River Island’s Liverpool store officially reopened last month after a multimillion pound refurbishment.

The £5million re-fit sees the site on Church Street near Liverpool One take the coveted crown as the brand’s largest UK retail space.

In a prime footfall area, the high street favourite is positioned over three floors totalling 23,463sqft and will offer men’s, women’s and kid’s fashion and accessories, plus a collection of exclusive brands.

“River Island are very excited about the new store in Church Street, Liverpool”, a spokesperson said. “The store will serve to epitomise the brands design ethos and provide a modern and forward thinking environment in which to shop. The store design uses an eclectic combination of retro and contemporary materials which are reflective of our stores across the country. We look forward to opening and hope our customers will enjoy the shopping experience.”

River Island went all-out to celebrate the re-launch, with ice cream trikes navigating around key areas distributing complimentary ice creams along with a voucher to redeem in store- entitling the customer to a free gift with purchase.

River Island’s one hundred plus design team delivers fresh, fun, feel good fashion to its customers, with over 12,000 pieces of clothing designed in-house and delivered into stores every year.

River Island has nearly 300 stores across the UK, Ireland and internationally throughout Asia, the Middle East and Europe.

A spokesperson added, “At River Island we try really hard to bring new and original fashion to you, with design at the heart of absolutely everything we do. Almost everything is designed in-house and with one of the largest design teams on the High Street this means we can have fabulous new fashion arriving in-store and online every single week.”
