Operating since 1975, KN Network Services (KNNS) provides telecommunications, civil engineering, rail, electricity and energy sector services to clients in the UK, Ireland and overseas.

KNNS is overseen by Group CEOs Donagh Kelly and Brian Curran and despite the challenges within the market over the past few years they have seen the company expand internationally to produce solid financial results.

KNNS is divided into a number of group divisions, including Airtricity Energy Services, which services the domestic and retail gas sectors; Thelinor, which provides wholesale turnkey installation and maintenance services to the telecommunication industry; and AC Powerlines, which specialises in management, construction and overhead line projects. Other divisions within the group include Sanctum Networks, a pioneering solution provider of reliable, high-performance multicore platforms and systems; and ANT Communications, an international provider of high end quality equipment housings and technical service solutions.

Over the years KNNS has worked with many prestigious clients on many prestigious schemes. Clients include BT, London Mining, Network Rail, Motorola, Dublin City Council and 3, amongst others.

Recent schemes that KNNS have been involved with include the LUAS Broombridge enabling works, the Chancery Lane Station Electrical Improvement works and the Neasden Depot Winterisation scheme. Additional projects include the Grafton Street improvement scheme in Dublin and the South Kensington Station renovation in London.

As well as tackling an array of projects, KNNS prides itself on being a large community employer which works to make a difference for many groups of people who need assistance. KNNS provide annual support to various youth sports and activities, through sponsorship of kit and associated equipment, and the company also makes charitable donations. KNNS is a large supporter of Temple Street Children’s Hospital and HOPE Foundation and each year the company makes a donation to the Irish Capuchins in aid of homelessness.
