Pearce Construction, was formed in 1946 and now operates from its offices based in Barnstaple, across three divisions; Contracting, Pearce Property Services and Pearce Homes.

The firm principally operates across Cornwall, Devon and West Somerset and represents destinations within two hours travelling distance from Barnstaple.

The firm specialise in the design and build of quality executive and family homes in desirable locations throughout Devon and Cornwall. Working on behalf of public and private clients Pearce Construction deliver high quality residential construction projects on a partnered, negotiated or tendered basis from one-offs to phased estate construction.

Construction services on offer include interior and exterior improvements and upgrades, design and build services, disabled adaptations, alterations and bespoke joinery manufacture and installation.

The firm’s Contracting Division has a well proven record in general contracting and since their inception has successfully completed a whole range of projects. Projects typically range in value from £250,000 to in excess of £4 million with a wide and varied customer base many of whom are repeat customers. Clients include Government Bodies, Corporate Businesses and Domestic Clients.

The firm regularly undertakes commercial, educational, healthcare, industrial, residential and retail buildings works. Current house development sites include Castle Mill located in Landkey, Braunton Village in Braunton, The Barton in West Buckland, Hillpark in Buckland Brewer and Dots Close in Ashwater. Completed Pearce Homes sites include Strathmore Court, Pilton Quayside, Asbury Grove, Arthurs Lea, Church Meadow, Higher Thorne Close and The Glebe.

Other new build projects include Torrington Primary School, Pearce House, Lynton Medical Centre, Dog’s Trust, West Buckland Art Block and Theatre and Rock Park Development. Refurbishment projects include Dunheved House, Petroc College, Launceston Town Hall, Welland House and Centre of Light.

The firm also carries out emergency, general repairs, maintenance and minor works for a plethora of clients dealing with burst pipes, blocked drains, leaking roofs and break-ins. Pearce employ a team of highly experienced plumbers, electricians and trade professionals that are able to handle client’s queries and requests.
