Morgan Sindall Group PLC is a leading construction and regeneration company which undertakes an array of projects from small scale fit outs and utilities projects to major urban regeneration schemes.

The Group comprises a number of divisions all offering different areas of expertise. These include Morgan Sindall, Overbury, Lovell, Morgan Lovell, Muse Developments, Morgan Sidnall Investments and Morgan Sindall Professional Services.

Morgan Sindall offers national design, construction and infrastructure services to private and public sector clients across a broad range of markets. The Overbury division of the Group specialises in office refurbishments projects and fit out schemes working with clients directly through their own professional teams.

Lovell are specialists in design and build, refurbishment and maintenance of homes as well as the regeneration of communities across the UK. Morgan Lovell offers a leading workplace strategy, office design and fit out service to clients across the UK. The company is able to define, design and deliver entire office interior projects thanks to their expertise in the field.

Muse Developments work with landowners and the public sector in order to bring about sustainable regeneration and urban renewal by delivering an array of mixed use projects.

Morgan Sindall Investments offer flexible financing and development expertise covering a range of areas such as urban regeneration, education, healthcare, housing and infrastructure. Morgan Sindall Professional Services offer a sustainable engineering and design consultancy who specialise in complex infrastructure, process and built environments.

The Groups ongoing aim is to provide their employees, across all of the divisions, with a safe working environment. The organisation aims to reduce the number of incidents involving their employees.

Another key focus of the Morgan Sindall Group is the reduction of energy consumption and carbon emissions. Since 2010, the Group’s annual carbon emissions have been externally verified by Achilles and have continued to show a reduction in emissions from 63,742 tCO2e to 50,997 tCO2e in 2011, 48,019 tCO2e in 2012) and most recently 45,901 tCO2e in 2013 which equals a 28% reduction.

Another focus of Morgan SIndall is improving sustainable procurement. The Group’s supply chain is diverse and dynamic and has to respond to changes in core markets, as well as the expectations of the Group’s clients and external changes in policy and technology. Therefore, a proportion of the Groups trading will always sit outside of its Group-wide trading agreements as it addresses specialist or niche client requirements or processes the application of new members. Nonetheless, having a significant spend through their supply chain family helps economic growth drive the sustainability agenda.
