The firm directly employs 75 people, with a further 60 to 100 specialists on site at any one time, carrying out contracts for the private and public sectors across a range of construction projects ranging in value from £25,000 to £6 million.
Based in the Midlands Pave Aways has nearly 40 years of experience offering the surrounding counties of Shropshire and Mid and North Wales an array of construction services. As a medium sized company the directors have a direct hands on role in the business allowing clients direct access to the company’s senior management.

The company has demonstrated steady but controlled growth since their inception building up a firm financial base and a team of well trained and experienced employees.
Pave Aways undertake a number of Contracts on behalf of clients including New Construction, Refurbishment, Design and Build, Small Works and Maintenance works across the Education, Healthcare, Leisure and Retail sectors.
The firm has developed an excellent reputation in the Education sector and has gained vast experience within the private and public sector in Shropshire, Powys and Clwyd. At schools, universities and special establishments the team ensure they have an innovative and flexible approach at all stages of the construction process.
Since their inception the firm has undertaken a range of projects within the health sector from small refurbishments to new build extensions. The team is experienced in managing the risks in the construction process and ensuring that vital services and resources are not disrupted or compromised.
The Retail and Leisure sector is another area of expertise for Pave Aways having completed numerous projects for sports halls, retail, swimming pools and changing rooms throughout the region over the past 40 years.
Pave Aways is currently acting as the main contractor on a scheme to renovate and refurbish Shrewsbury College of Arts and Technology. The project began on site in July 2014 and is due to complete in March this year.
Pave Aways are working alongside Bryant Priest Newman Architects and a variety of subcontractors including PMP Consultants Limited, Stewart Associates, MJH Groundworks, Elhance Limited, Acorn Electrical Installations, Quality Glass, Star Installation and Ducatt Building Services to create new facilities for the college.
The project has included the construction of a new building comprising café facilities, offices and teaching spaces. The development has also involved the creation of a new main entrance, new sport pitch and parking facilities.
