A crackin’ Creme Egg café

Creme Egg

On Thursday 21st January 2016, Made in Chelsea star, Louise Thompson, opened the doors to the World’s first Cadbury Creme Egg Café in Central London – an egg-citing eatery dedicated to all things Creme Egg, with dishes of gooey yumminess available to tuck into. Open for a limited time of only seven weeks, the Café is a haven for Creme Egg lovers, serving a cracking range of Creme Egg inspired treats – so fans will need to get there quickly before it’s goo-ne.

The Café includes a takeaway area that is specifically designed for Creme Egg lovers who are short on time with an offering of delicious Creme Egg Toasties to go. People with a little more time to spare can enjoy dining in the intimate sit down Café area, complete with an egg-stravagent menu offering fans four inspiring ways to enjoy their favourite treat, including: Creme Egg Toastie – golden toast, sandwiched together with a deliciously gooey Creme Egg; Egg & soldiers – a classic British dish with a twist – a delicious Creme Egg, cracked open with that mouth-watering goo oozing out. Served with golden toast for soaking up the goo!

Creme Egg Tray Bake, is a chocolate cake, baked to perfection with Creme Eggs added in for goo-d measure. Meanwhile, Strawberries and Creme (Egg) includes juicy strawberries with a Mini Creme Egg, for a fruity taste!

The Café will also host a mini interactive ball pool – the perfect place for guests to go and release their inner child and have some fun!

Laura Mimoun, Brand Manager for Cadbury Creme Egg, said:
“We’re so excited to bring this celebration of all things Creme Egg to life through the launch of our very first Creme Egg Café. Every year, fans tell us how excited they are that Creme Eggs are back on shelves – so we wanted to celebrate the nation’s love for the product in a fun and cheeky way, that only Creme Egg can. The launch of the café is the perfect place to do this and we hope people will have a truly cracking time tucking into the gooey yumminess.”

The Creme Egg café is open for seven weeks only, from 22nd January until 6th March on Fridays between 5pm – 9pm and Saturdays and Sundays between 2pm – 6pm. Pre-booked tickets for the sit-in Café are now all sold out but fear not, as there are a limited number of walk-ins spaces available every day on a first come, first served basis.

For those not able to get to the Café, fret not, as Creme Eggs are back on shelves nationwide, available until Easter. The much-loved goo is only a shop away, make sure you get your hands on one before they’re goo-ne!
