Italian restaurant brand Coco di Mama has continued to grow rapidly in 2016 with a sixth opening for the calendar year. Under the slogan ‘here to power your day’, Coco di Mama became London’s first quick service Italian when founded in 2011 by lifelong friends Daniel Land and Jeremy Sanders.

Located on New Street Square and open five days a week, 6:30am till 5pm, the 14th store will continue the brand’s tradition of serving high quality Italian dishes using only the best and freshest ingredients.

The new store design is warm, alive, vibrant and stylish. A striking black and white colour palette along with pops of paprika, warm caramel and rich walnut creates a fresh and energising environment. Set against a backdrop of classic Italian marble and dimmed warm lighting, upbeat music has been specifically chosen to lift the mood of the venue and create a place where customers can recharge and spark their imagination.

To complete the New Street Square store, Coco di Mama once again turned to GS Contracts to carry out the fit out. With over twenty years of experience, the Essex based firm specialise in interior fit outs and manufacturing for the catering, leisure, commercial and retail industries. Priding itself on customer service and staff training, GS Contracts employ 58 full-time employees who are highly skilled in all aspects of project management, design, manufacturing and shop-fitting.

Daniel Land, Coco di Mama’s co-founder, said:

“Jeremy and I are so proud of how Coco di Mama is growing and evolving. We’re still at the stores every day to make sure our team and our customers are experiencing Coco exactly as we first intended – to support their success and to power their day. We’re doing this from 6:30 every morning at New Street Square, just like we do across London, bringing our unique mix of breakfast, coffee, lunch and pasta to the new Coco di Mama regulars.”

With a menu geared towards giving customers the energy to get them through the work day, Coco has developed a reputation for high quality, classic pasta dishes and some of the best coffee currently on offer in London. The chain believes they are able to make an artisan coffee to suit any taste by combining the best blends, baristas and equipment.

Carefully created through a partnership with Allpress, Coco’s unique expresso blend combines Brazil Santa Alina, Colombia Pescador, Guetemala Huehuetenango and Sumatra Mandheling. Boasting some of the most experienced and well-trained Baristas currently working in London – using the next generation of equipment – they are passionate about their work and the results.

Breakfast dishes include Superstart Eggs and porridge with a choice of regular or coconut milk, shaved dark chocolate, candied pecans, cinnamon sugar and acacia honey. Pasta lovers can tuck into dishes like classic homemade lasagne, mac & cheese, carbonara and naked chicken pesto. Those looking to treat themselves can enjoy daily handmade cakes, vegan banana bread or stay true to Coco’s Italian roots with toasted biscotti.

The first Coco di Mama’s outlet opened on Fleet Street, right in the heart of London. Situated close to where both Daniel and Jeremy had previously worked, the plan was to create something they themselves would want to go and by extension so would other customers. It was a theory that when put into practice was an immediate success. The business has grown rapidly since 2011, with over 60,000 people served every week including 30,000 coffees and 30,000 bowls of pasta. Despite the growth of the brand, it has remained founder led with Daniel and Jeremey taking a hands on approach to all aspects of the business. A 15th store will open on Coleman Street, EC2 in mid-December.
