Coco di Mama – King William Street

London’s leading Italian grab and go concept, Coco di Mama, continues to grow across the capital bringing the best of Italian to British breakfast, lunchtime, dinner and everything in between.

The first Coco di Mama opened its doors on Fleet Street in 2011 and has been serving up Italian-inspired food and ‘the best coffee in the city’ ever since. Seven years later and the brand now boasts over twenty stores, serving over 70,000 Londoners every week. Everything at Coco di Mama is made fresh daily, served super-fast and always delicious. The vibrant menu is created in their kitchens every day and ready to be enjoyed in one of their many lively stores or on the go.

One of the most recent openings saw a site open on King William St. Open from 6:30am to 8pm Monday to Thursday and 6:30am to 5pm on Fridays.

All Coco di Mama stores are inviting and uplifting with an obvious counter focus. Local street artists adorn the walls with abstract high energy patterns to create a youthful & vibrant feel. There are always comfortable seats and upbeat tunes to lift the mood and create a place for everyone to relax or recharge.

On the menu, pasta is served up super-quick and super-fresh. There are 6 core pasta sauces available to choose from every day: Slow Cooked Bolognese, Sweet Pomodoro, Garden Green Pesto, Wild Mushroom, Chicken Pesto and Ham Hock Carbonara. There is always a gluten free pasta option or wild rice. Extra flourishes like parmesan, chilli flakes and truffle oil are always on the house. The breakfast menu is healthy, energising and enticing including made to order poached eggs, porridge and hot breakfast brioche rolls. Superstart Eggs (Poached eggs, hot smoked salmon, avocado, roasted tomatoes, spinach and seeds) and Decadent Porridge (regular or dairy-free coconut milk porridge with shaved dark chocolate, candied pecans, cinnamon or acacia honey) are two of the most popular breakfast dishes.

The lunchtime offering is a selection of Italian inspired hot and cold food, all made fresh in every Coco Kitchen. The Chicken Milanese Baguette (sourdough baguette with chicken escalope, sunblushed tomatoes and jalapenos), Super Chicken Salad (smoked chicken breast, avocado and Coco’s own celeriac slaw with omega seeds) and Classic Beef Lasagne (layers of Coco Bolognese pasta sauce, béchamel, mozzarella and lasagne sheets) are particularly well sought after.
