Hospitality specialists Astounding Interiors continue to live up to their name, with an unrivalled portfolio of impressive interior design projects, including those for restaurants, hotels, commercial bars and luxury homes, creating outstanding concepts where creativity is key.

The company experts provide state of the art designs, with a supply and fit out service throughout the hospitality sector, including hotels, pubs, nightclubs, cocktail bars and restaurants. They are renowned for achieving visually stunning, highly functional and cost effective design solutions.

A team of highly trained, qualified commercial interior designers, interior architects and digital designers, the team at Astounding Interiors have originated from retail fashion backgrounds, international design practices, hospitality brands and Google.

The practice offers clients a personal service that goes above and beyond expectations, by working to the highest standards of trust, integrity and commitment.

Examples of luxury home bar projects carried out by Astounding Interiors include a scheme at a private residence in Platt Hill Wood, Sevenoaks.

The design includes a backlit Marblo solid surface as the main source of lighting for behind the bar and bar top work surface, LED plays a big part around the seating and on the insert ceiling. Overall a luxury 5 star hotel feel was required and achieved within 16 weeks.

A variety of textures were used in this design – a principle that added a feeling of luxury through the stimulation of the senses. A heavily purple and gold colour palette was chosen because of its association with being luxurious, regal and classy.

The combination of the white marble-effect surfaces on the bar, against the plush padded surfaces on the recessed ceilings and booths inspire the mind, helping to create this ostentatious interior.

In another project carried out for a residence in Hartley, Longfield, the original design of the bar and entertainment area used a 1920’s inspired theme.

Astounding Interiors’ proposal was to give this space a completely new contemporary look and feel, using a modern, high-end bar as a focal point for the room and accompanying statement furniture pieces.

The design prioritised maximising the entertainment space available within the room.

A further particularly outstanding commercial bar project carried out by Astounding Interiors was for TOWIE, an establishment called Bar Blanco.

The brief was to design and build Essex’s latest celebrity bar that would double up as a coffee shop and bistro in the daytime.

This was achieved in just 10 weeks, from the initial design to finishing the build. Timely completion was accomplished through careful and experienced planning, working closely with suppliers to ensure prompt delivery and managing the contractors so that everyone onsite fulfilled their tasks on schedule.

A big concern from the local authority was the noise bleed from the speakers and base bins to the flats above, this challenge was overcome by soundproofing the venue’s walls and ceilings.

Astounding Interiors also used clever design techniques to soak up the vocal sound and bass. These included thick padded seating and acoustic glass in the shop front window. This was a major success, with the decibel readings now showing hardly any noise bleed outside the venue.

The project achieved good feedback from the general public and was a big hit with the TOWIE followers on screen and off, reaching 30,000 followers on Twitter.

The Arcadia Lounge bar and Club in Bexleyheath now has a new feel providing an out of this world experience appealing to all the senses.

Astounding Interiors changed the whole footprint of the premises and used a variety of construction techniques to open up the basement, removing all the pillars and walls that were being used to hold up the floor above in a project that was completed in just six weeks.

The bar is very organic, with natural elements showcased throughout the very large three-floor venue. The design is very quirky with a touch of fun and grandeur, which was part of the client’s brief.

The ground floor has a vintage feel, whilst still creating a relaxed lounge-type experience.

The design includes vintage style accessories and furniture with an ‘old school’ look, combined with a modern twist in porcelain tiling. The interior features concrete look floors and stainless bar fronts, mixed with mirror finish ceramic tiles. Exotic animal prints subtly add to the overall effect throughout the venue, including on bar tops and the exquisite WCS.
