This Month in Premier Retail 2-6

Welcome to Premier Retail – the premier construction tool for the retail industry.

In this month’s issue we take a look at Reebok’s new headquarters; we sit back and relax at Cineworld Leicester Square; and we check out Moncler Dubai.

Reebok has moved its headquarters to the edge of Seaport in Boston where they have transformed 220,000 square foot of space into their new state-of-the-art office space. Located in the Innovation & Design Building, Reebok decided on an open-concept space for their employees. Instead of individual offices, each employee is assigned a locker for their belongings and sits in a work area according to their department. These are called Neighbourhoods and encourage an interactive set-up with long tables and couches for employees to work at. The open spaces are then centralised by conference and meeting rooms.

Meanwhile, located in the entertainment heart of London, Cineworld Leicester Square has recently undergone a major refurbishment, delivered by architects and masterplanners Chapman Taylor, with the lobby refurbishment designed by Warsaw architects Innebo. The lobby and public areas were completely transformed, playing a key role in firmly establishing the Cineworld brand identity in this world-famous district. As part of the cutting-edge offer brought to the West End by Cineworld, the basement was turned into the home for a 144-seat 4DX motion theatre, with high-tech motion seats and special effects which include wind, fog, lightning, bubbles, water, rain and scents.

And finally, Italian luxury brand Moncler has consolidated its presence in the Middle East with the opening of the first monobrand boutique in Dubai. This latest store opening follows hot on the heels of Moncler’s first boutique at the Hamad International Airport of Doha. Located inside the Dubai Mall, one of the world’s largest shopping centres and obligatory stop-off point for luxury shopping, the boutique covers a total surface area of 250 sqm revealing an original and exclusive design.

With all this and much more inside, please join us as we explore the projects which continue to shape the retail sector.
