HOMES

HOMES is the premier event experience for those working at a high level in residential development, strategic asset management and procurement.

Taking place at Olympia London on the 28th and 29th November 2018, HOMES will feature an incredible line-up of guest speakers and a diverse range of exhibitors showcasing products and services. Visitors registered to attend HOMES will have access to 120 exhibitors, over 150 speakers and 6 theatres. It is expected that there will be approximately 4000 visitors across the two day event.

As the UK’s only large-scale housing event, HOMES helps bring together housing professionals from local authorities, housing associations and housebuilders. It is widely recognised as a must attend event in the British housing calendar.

The agenda for this year’s event includes a diverse range of thought-provoking and topical subjects, from counting down to Brexit to the Barking Riverside regeneration – London’s first NHS Healthy New Town. The closing keynote speak will be delivered by Kit Malthouse MP, Minister of State for Housing. Other speakers currently set to take part across the two days include David Cowans, Chief Executive of Places for People; Elaine Bailey, Chief Executive of The Hyde Group; Ben Denton, Managing Director of L&G Affordable Homes; Sarah Beale, Chief Executive of CITB; and Ben Derbyshire, President of RIBA.

Exhibiting at HOMES is the opportunity to meet the right mix of senior decision makers. The open plan seminars make for an integrated experience that allow visitors and exhibitors to mix and interact and network with ease. Throughout the event there will be opportunities to make new connections and form potentially fruitful partnerships over drinks, lunches and breakfast briefings. Some of the exhibitors who will be present this year include Arden Windows, Kier and Travis Perkins.

Over 80 hours of content will be available at HOMES 2018, the housing sector’s biggest free content offering of talks, seminars and panel debates. The theatres cover asset management, development, efficiency, fire safety, home ownership, planning, regeneration, technology, people, finance and build-to-rent.

HOMES 2018 will also play host to The National Leasehold Group (NLG) and National Sales Group (NSG) conferences. Formed in 2010, NLG is an independent networking group which includes senior leasehold managers and practitioners from across the sector. NLG began with an initial focus to promote professional leasehold management in housing associations but has gradually increased its scope to now welcome Local Authority property professionals as members. The NLG awards 2018 will be held, celebrating the success of leasehold departments and individuals within the housing association sector.

NSG is an independent body comprising the Sales & Marketing sector’s most influential people from across the country. The main focus of the group is to promote professional sales and marketing in housing associations.

With its exciting programme of events, HOMES 2018 promises to be one of this year’s standout events in the UK housing industry. From informed talks and seminars led by knowledgeable speakers to innovative and unique exhibitors. To find out more or register to register to attend the show, please visit www.homesevent.co.uk.
