Pitcher & Piano opens in Sheffield
The renowned and highly revered Pitcher & Piano has opened its doors in Sheffield.
Launched on 19th October 2018, Pitcher & Piano has completely transformed its new home, the former National Union of Mineworks (NUM) Building, on Holly Street. The sites interior was created by Concorde BGW and provides a fun and vibrant atmosphere for diners.
Pitcher & Piano Sheffield has been in the works since 2016.
The Sheffield site is the 18th in the UK for the legendary brand, alongside venues in York, Nottingham, Harrogate, Birmingham and Newcastle. Pitcher & Piano was launched in 1986 with each bar having its own unique identity, meaning you will never see two Pitcher & Pianos looking the same!
At Pitcher & Piano, guests are served a great range of interesting and wonderful cocktails, beautiful wines and premium draught on tap, as well as fresh food from lunch through to evening, all within a beautifully designed bar with plenty of private bookable spaces.
Small dishes and sharers are perfect for any time of the day with lunchtime offerings promising delicious sandwiches and healthy salads. If you are feeling a little indulgent then homemade burgers usually go down a treat.
Colin Sadler, Managing Director of Pitcher & Piano said: “We’re thrilled to have opened our brand-new site in Sheffield. The former NUM building offers a unique character, in line with our other beautifully designed bars across the country.
“Sheffield is a brilliant, vibrant city steeped in culture and our latest site is a stone’s throw from City Hall and the city’s famous theatre complex.
“We hope it will become an after-work favourite for the people of Sheffield and we look forward to welcoming guests into our new home!”
