This Month in Premier Hospitality 9.5

Welcome to the latest edition of Premier Hospitality.

In this month’s issue we step into VIVI; we check out Thorpe Manor House; and we unveil The Muddler.

The latest offering from premium hospitality group rhubarb, VIVI, has opened to the public. The 290-cover, all-day restaurant is the flagship dining destination within the much-anticipated Centre Point revival.

Totalling 16,000 square foot, VIVI occupies the main floor of the bridge link at Centre Point, overlooking London’s newest square and Oxford Street. The menu at VIVI has been inspired by the 1960s and this also forms the basis of the venue’s design, which was led by London-based Gordon Young Architects (formerly SAY Architects).

Thorpe Manor House is a Grade II* listed property nestled in the Oxfordshire countryside and is just 30 minutes away from the Cotswolds. Opened in the summer of 2018, it is a property to hire for events such as weddings, private parties, corporate events, rural retreats and restorative weekends away. The house was built in the 1600s and, with its surrounding 200 acres of land; it is rich in history and atmosphere. The grand country house is owned by Henry and Natasha Teare and they have a unique history with it.

Brand new Pan-Asian restaurant The Muddler has opened on Grey Street in Newcastle, with a beautifully designed interior and a menu providing an explosion of delicious flavours from many cultures. The building has been lovingly redeveloped to the highest of standards, creating an impressive and opulent setting for stunning food, drinks and excellent service in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.

The restaurant is owned by Danieli Holdings, the company behind Newcastle’s increasing popular shipping container village, STACK and has taken over the site where much loved restaurant Osaka used to be

With all this and more it’s time to sit back and tuck into another helping of Premier Hospitality. Go well!
