DoubleTree by Hilton has opened its doors on the edge of Reading Town Centre. The 129-room hotel is conventionally located within close proximity to the M4 corridor and just 35 miles from Heathrow Airport. The latest addition to DoubleTree by Hilton, one of Hilton’s 15 market-leading brands, marks the first DoubleTree property in Reading and joins an existing 50 DoubleTree by Hilton hotels in the United Kingdom.
The historic and modern hotel is set on 10.5 acres of natural landscape, offering views of the surrounding River Lodden. Guests are within reach of the town centre and only an hour out from central London, providing the ideal base for both business and leisure travellers. The hotel is also perfectly situated for guests to explore anything Reading and the surrounding area has to offer including Windsor Castle, Ascot racecourse and LEGOLAND. Business travellers are only a short distance from the area’s three global business parks; Green park, Thames Valley and Winnersh Triangle Business Park, for which the hotel provides a shuttle service.

Guests can settle into one of the hotel’s 129 stylish guest rooms, including 25 deluxe rooms. Inside the historic mill, the Deluxe Rooms boast charming and traditional characteristics such as classic wooden beams. These features can also be found in the hotel’s four junior suites where guests can also enjoy a separate living area, espresso machine and bathrobes, as well as modern amenities such as complimentary Wi-Fi, upscale toiletries and a laptop-sized safe.
With a 24-hour fitness centre, guests can work out in an air-conditioned gym equipped with the latest cardiovascular equipment and free weights.

For groups looking to host meetings or events, DoubleTree by Hilton Reading M4 J10 offers five function rooms, including a ballroom, with a total capacity of up to 300 guests. The flexible events space is perfect for corporate and social events, enjoying fantastic natural light.

Those looking for an authentic traditional country pub experience can visit the Poachers Pub to taste real ales in the cosy atmosphere of log fires, inside the original 19th Century mill, a grade II listed building.

Interior Fittings UK Ltd is a well-established company focused on the refurbishment of hotels and restaurants throughout the UK. The company’s previous projects include Crowne Plaza Basingstoke, Novotel Hotel Heathrow (top restaurant, gym), Holiday Inn Luton South (bar area), London O2 Area Hotel, Hotel in Richmond.
