This Month in Premier Hospitality 9.8

Welcome to the latest edition of Premier Hospitality.

In this month’s issue we step into The Fleet Hotel; we check out The Curragh; and we unveil Dublin Liberties Distillery.

The Fleet Hotel in Dublin has recently undergone a major refurbishment that has tastefully restored many of the original features of the building and now boasts one of the Dublin’s finest Hotel reception and public areas which includes a spectacular café and luxurious Bar.

The hotel joined the Windward Hotel Group in 2011 and following that phase of work, a longer-term plan was devised  and implemented over the coming years to reposition the hotel to a four star hotel.

The Curragh, Ireland’s most important thoroughbred racecourse for flat racing, has recently reopened following a major redevelopment project.

Designed by Grimshaws, in association with Newenham Mulligan & Associates, the new Curragh has seen the creation of world class multi-purpose facilities on a par with the best anywhere in the world. The centrepiece of the redevelopment is a major new grandstand which incorporates five star corporate facilities, restaurants, bars and superb viewing facilities for the public.

A new parade ring ensures that more patrons can share in the excitement and build up to the racing and a new weigh room provides even better facilities for the jockeys.

Ireland’s most anticipated craft distillery has launched, as The Dublin Liberties Distillery opened its doors to the new €10m state-of-the-art whiskey distillery and visitor experience in the heart of Dublin’s Liberties district.

Production of the Dublin Liberties Distillery’s Whiskey portfolio – which includes award-wining brands, The Dubliner and The Dublin Liberties – has now commenced at the distillery under the supervision of renowned master Distiller, Darryl McNally. The new distillery boasts a world-class cocktail bar and an industry-leading visitor experience, providing an exciting addition to Dublin’s increasingly vibrant whiskey tourism scene.

With all this and more it’s time to sit back and tuck into another helping of Premier Hospitality. Go well!
