The Florist Watford

The Florist Watford has blossomed into life, having recently opened its spectacular floral world bar and restaurant on the bustling High Street of the intu Watford shopping centre.

The award-winning brand offers guests a floral experience to charm the senses with a visually stunning interior featuring floral works of art around every corner.

Guests are falling in love with the breath-taking interiors, particularly the full-size trees in bloom and neon installations.

The venue features entire walls covered with flowers, trees with pink blossom standing between the tables, and plants hanging in bunches from the ceiling. Double balconies are decorated with yet more blossom trees, and metal lanterns glow on each table.

Having collaborated with talented graffiti artist, Jody Thomas, the unique space is a celebration of creativity that’s harmonious with The Florist concept.

The Florist is a stay all day and hang out at night destination, with rotating menus, music and atmosphere to take the tempo from relaxed, lounge vibes to a sophisticated, party venue. Weekends welcome DJs and saxophonists.

The industry-leading bar and restaurant menus are created from the core principles of floristry, taking inspiration from the three key styles of flower arranging: Ikebana, English Garden and Modern Contemporary.

Guests can enjoy an all-round modern dining experience with brunch, lunch and dinner every day of the week. The Florist’s versatile dinner menu reflects the key floristry styles with contemporary Asian influence, offering a sharing selection of beautifully presented dishes, ideal for a social occasion. From Ikebana salmon sushi rolls to English Garden candy beetroot salads, the diverse range of culinary delights are sure to deliver.

Sundays are an event with the ‘Feast & Fizz’ menu; a bottomless Sunday roast to end the week in style. Each menu caters for dietary requirements, with non-gluten, dairy free and vegan options.

Embracing the floral artistry, the aromatic cocktails have been created to balance complex and inviting flavours inspired by the three key styles: English Summer Garden, Ikebana and Modern. Cocktails are served in beautiful gin vases to encourage the smell of the floral aromas to be embraced with every sip. The venue also caters for beer and ale lovers, with an impressive anthology of over 60 to choose from around the world.

Those wishing to enhance their sensory experience can partake in The Florist’s bespoke masterclasses. Guests can enjoy expertly-led experiences in the crafts of cocktails, floristry and gin tastings.
