Knightsbridge’s newest night-time addition, Nolita Social, is a stylish cocktail lounge and live music bar beneath the recently opened Settee restaurant on Knightsbridge Green. Accentuating its New York origins, Nolita Social is named after one of New York’s most charming neighbourhoods (North of Little Italy), bringing the energy of ‘the New York night’ to London, mixed in with the ‘Dolce Vita’ atmosphere that new hotspot Italian restaurant Sette is already well known for.
Heading downstairs, guests will find the perfect after-hours drinking spot – an intimate lounge furnished with opulent, jewel-toned furniture and decorated with eclectic artworks created by contemporary artist Domingo Zapata. A distinctive bright pink ‘la Dolce Vita’ neon sign illuminates one of the corners of the room, bringing a warm glow to those who stand beside to admire it.
Helping guests get in the New York state of mind is a menu of heady cocktails expertly curated by the talented bar team. Nolita Social’s lively soundtrack has been infused into the cocktails themselves, which are named after famous songs from the 60s, 70s and 80s. Serves include:
- Good Vibration – a perfect answer to the classic margarita, this is a refreshing combination of tapatio tequila, cucumber-bell-pepper-water, finished with a spray of absinthe.
- Gelato al Cioccolato – named after a famous Italian song from the 70s this is a sweet mix of Yaguara Cachaça, chocolate spiced liqueur, lime sherbet, Pedro Ximenez sherry.
- Sympathy for the Devil – for old fashioned lovers, this cocktail is made with Buffalo trace bourbon and house bitters, while the glass is smoked over a piece of wood from a Jack Daniel’s whisky barrel placed on the bar.
- Lost Sailor – more adventurous drinkers are invited to try this unusual combination of L’Orbe caviar-infused vodka, cherry brandy and orange bitters.
The Sympathy for the Devil cocktail is also available to order to share. Served in an impressive glass decanter, the beverage is poured into glasses as the smoke from the barrel pours up and out of the bottle.
A selection of refreshing aperitifs and delectable light bites are also available for pre or post dining at Sette, including Tuna Cones with avocado and marinated red onion; Samosas with smoked mozzarella and sun-dried tomatoes and Pata Negra Iberico ham with black mission fig and ciabatta.
Whether unwinding with a relaxed drink, enjoying the talented live musicians or partying into the early hours, Nolita Social’s music programme offers something to fit every mood. It has been specially curated by Sauce DJ’s founder Stuart Bevan. Former member of indie rock band The Paddingtons and International DJ, Stuart toured extensively in the mid-2000s and DJ’d many of London’s hottest nightlife venues and international A-list events. This has allowed Stuart to curate music programmes for exclusive clients such as Mulberry, Armani, Lulu Guinness, Versace and now Nolita Social.
From Wednesday through to Saturday, Nolita will host live musicians from 8:30pm to 10:30pm, followed by DJ’s playing everything from 60’s rock, 70’s soul and 90’s hip-hop until 01:00am for a stylish, yet carefree crowd.
With live music sessions and plenty of comfortable space to gather with friends, Knightsbridge finally has a fun, after -hour’s hangout, perfect for light-hearted revelry.

Nolita Social is the private bar located below Sette in the Bulgari hotel.
The key challenges in this project lay in the enabling works, and the need to complete the project in a live environment without affecting the peace for the hotel’s discerning clientele!
Prior to fit-out works commencing a large sweeping staircase had to be removed, and the floor slab was extended to increase the available floor area for the new Sette restaurant on the ground floor. This operation involved the design and implementation of significant temporary propping works, and the installation of major supporting steels, before the slab could be completed, and fit-out works commenced.
As always, the key to success was careful planning, co-ordination and communication. The final product is of a high quality, as you would expect in a Knightsbridge location such as this, delivered in demanding circumstances.
