Premier Hospitality International 2.4

Welcome to the latest edition of Premier Hospitality International.

In this month’s issue we take a look at The Equinox Hotel; we check out Latitude 0˚Hotel; and we explore Artic Bath.

Redefining the luxury hotel experience as a seamless extension of a high-performance lifestyle, is the first Equinox Hotel, recently opened in Hudson Yards, New York.
Designed by leading architecture and design studio Rockwell Group, the 12-storey hotel is geared to serving the busy traveller who wants their travel to fit into their existing holistic healthy lifestyle, without disruption.  Rockwell Group were responsible for the architectural design, interiors, lighting, custom furniture and fixtures for the new hotel, which was completed in summer 2019.
The concept for the hotel was inspired by a seamless transition between travel, work, play, and a healthy lifestyle, built on the pillars of movement, nutrition, and regeneration.

The Latitude Hotels Group is a distinctly African lifestyle hospitality brand offering chic city hotels, as slick as the most sought after in Europe – think sprightly and progressive, with groovy African overtones, and you will come somewhere close to what makes Latitude’s properties so desirable, and so unique. The portfolio has now expanded with the third property to The Latitude Hotels Group collection, Latitude 0°. The hotel is named after its position on the equator and it is located on the outskirts of the lively city of Kampala, Uganda, atop the quiet and leafy suburb of Makindye, a mere 45 minutes from the airport.

Opened in early 2020, Artic Bath, on the Lule River near the village of Harads in Swedish Lapland, is a floating spa hotel. Built in a circular shape on the water, Arctic Bath floats during the summer and freezes into ice during the winter; which offers visitors a unique year-round Arctic wellness experience. There is a giant ice bath in the middle, ringed with three saunas, a spa treatment room and hot baths.

With all this and more, it’s time to sit back and marvel at all of the great projects across the world, courtesy of Premier Hospitality International.
