The gradual revival in the economy has resulted in an increase in neighbourly matters activity across the country.
GVA Schatunowski Brooks continues to work at the forefront of neighbourly matters in the assessment and negotiation of Rights of Light, Sunlight and Daylight and party wall matters working with developers and neighbours in respect of planning applications and planning appeals.
Most recently GVA Schatunowski Brooks has helped to obtain planning consent for a large residential scheme in St John’s Wood and a hotel on Albert Embankment; both very high profile and technically difficult schemes to prove. The team responds to national instructions with specialist directors in London and Manchester.
Additionally Schatunowski Brooks has provided input in respect of the law commission report on potential reformation of the law surrounding Rights of Light and helping to formulate other potential avenues of improvement in the law.
GVA Schatunowski Brooks is now looking to expand and improve its offering in respect of the software available for analysis work, especially in respect of planning projects.
