Dear readers,

Welcome to the first edition of Premier Hospitality for 2014.

In this month’s issue we dive in to Wright Brothers’ new restaurant in Spitalfields; we check out the new-look Ping Pong in Wembley; and take a look at Cavatina, in the Sunset Marquis hotel.

Located at 8/9 Lamb Street, Old Spitalfields Market, London, Wright Brothers Spitalfields is the latest site from the seafood specialists Wright Brothers. The new restaurant is the fourth venue from Wright Brothers, joining two sites in London – Oyster & Porter House in Borough Market and Soho Oyster House – and The Ferryboat Inn in Cornwall.

Wright Brothers Spitalfields is the most ambitious restaurant to date at Old Spitalfields Market; opening its doors for the first time on 6th December 2013. The restaurant offers guests a bold and innovative ‘sea-to-plate’ dining experience, with more varieties and volumes of seafood and crustacea than seen before in London.

Meanwhile, with a delicious offering of freshly prepared dim sum, Ping Pong provides a mouth watering dining experience at an affordable price. Ping Pong has sites in London as well as a number of restaurants internationally and its latest offering – Ping Pong Wembley – opened in December 2013 in the prestigious London Designer Outlet. The 5,500 sq ft, 220-cover restaurant includes a bar, dim sum counter and private dining room and is the first site to open as part of Ping Pong’s scheme to rebrand its restaurants.

And finally, Cavatina, located inside the legendary Sunset Marquis hotel, has opened its doors for the first time. The full service restaurant will feature interesting yet uncomplicated dishes prepared by renowned chef/restaurateur Michael Schlow. The Sunset Marquis is celebrating its 50th anniversary and the new restaurant is the perfect way to honour the property’s half-century of service.

“I’m a huge fan of Sunset Marquis,” said Schlow, enlisted to create the restaurant’s vision. “It is one of my favourite hotels in the world and the idea of being part of the food and beverage team and getting to cook with all of the beautiful products California has to offer, is a dream come true.”

Now, with all that and more it’s time to sit back and feast on Premier Hospitality.

Enjoy!

Alex
