Commonwealth War Graves Commission Director-General to Speak at Sussex Heritage Trust 5th Biennial Dinner

Sussex Heritage Trust is proud to announce that Victoria Wallace, Director General of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission will be the after-dinner speaker at the 5th Biennial Dinner on Friday 9th October 2015 at the Ashdown Park Hotel, Forest Row, West Sussex.

Mrs Wallace is the first woman Director General of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, which she joined in 2014. She will talk about her experiences in heritage management in the 21st century, covering perspectives on conservation from castles to cemeteries.

The Sussex Heritage Trust Biennial Dinner marks a high point in the Trust’s calendar of events, which includes the recent Sussex Heritage Trust Awards. The black tie dinner takes place in the former chapel of the luxurious Ashdown Park Hotel and is a wonderful opportunity to further support the Trust’s charitable aims to preserve, improve and encourage the appreciation of the architectural and natural landscape of Sussex.
