This Month in Premier Hospitality 6.7

Welcome to the latest edition of Premier Hospitality.

In this month’s issue we bow down to the interior design at Queens; we indulge ourselves at Brimstone Spa; and we showcase Beaverbrook.

A wide ranging refurbishment, just completed, has created a spectacular brand new interior that pays homage to ice skaters and bowling lovers of decades gone by at Queens on Queensway, West London. The venue, which comprises 45,000sq ft of comprehensively re-designed and refurbished eating, drinking, skating and bowling space, has been entertaining Londoners since the 1930s. The breathtaking new interior incorporates 12 state-of-the-art bowling lanes, an ice rink and two contemporary bars, all designed in an industrial, British-retro style.

Meanwhile, offering a luxury, sensory experience inspired by Lake District landscapes, the new Brimstone Spa has opened on the Langdale Estate in the heart of the Lake District. Available exclusively to guests staying at the Brimstone Hotel and the Langdale Estate, the brand new state of the art spa includes seven thermal experiences, an infinity pool, a range of chill out areas, 10 treatment rooms offering specially developed ‘Pure Alchemy’ treatments, a private spa suite for two, and a deli. The spa boasts thermal experiences including a Himalayan salt steam grotto, fragrance columns, foot-spas and a lava sauna, and an infinity pool which spans from indoor to outdoor, leading to a covered outdoor space complete with wood burning stove, relaxation beds and outdoor sauna.

And finally, set amidst 400 acres of privately owned Surrey countryside, Beaverbrook is a luxurious country house hotel, boasting the highest quality amenities, unparalleled service and beautiful surroundings. The country retreat sits on land that was once owned by Express Newspapers owner, Lord Max Beaverbrook and is ideally placed just 19 miles away from Piccadilly Circus. Beaverbrook arrives in three distinct stages, with the first phase – The Garden House – kick-starting the gradual unveiling of this wonderful hideaway.

Also in this issue we showcase our International Focus – our look at projects taking place outside the UK. Features include the magnificent MGM, Zoku and much more.

With all this and more, it’s time to sit back and tuck into another helping of Premier Hospitality.
