Hotel management company, Valor Hospitality Europe, is celebrating after picking up prestigious awards for the management of two of its Marco Pierre White restaurants.

Hotel Indigo Liverpool and Crowne Plaza Plymouth, which are both home to Marco Pierre White (MPW) Steakhouse Bar & Grill restaurants, were named ‘Best Restaurant’ and ‘Best Newcomer’ respectively at the Black and White Annual Conference and Awards Dinner this week.

The Liverpool venue was up against 40 other MPW restaurants for the restaurant of the year award and Plymouth was in competition with 15 MPW’s from across the UK for the newcomer of the year accolade. Both were recognised for their exceptional service, management, design and of course, outstanding food.

MPW Steakhouse Bar & Grill Plymouth, which officially launched on the Crowne Plaza’s penthouse floor in March 2017, offers diners a unique experience with panoramic sea views over the Hoe and to Cornwall.

Although the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill has been on Liverpool’s dining scene since opening at the Hotel Indigo in 2012, last year the restaurant was fully refurbished, bringing a radical new look and fresh new menu to the venue.

Brian McCarthy, MD of Valor Hospitality Europe, said: “These awards further illustrate Valor’s expertise in successfully managing quality franchises.

“Marco Pierre White is exactly that, meaning diners come with high expectations and it’s great to see the hard work of the teams at the Hotel Indigo Liverpool and Crowne Plaza Plymouth be recognised on a national scale.”

As well as the venues in Liverpool and Plymouth, Valor Hospitality Europe manages a third MPW restaurant at its DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel and Spa in Chester.
