Welcome to the latest edition of Premier Hospitality.
In this month’s issue we take a look at the latest site for Zelman Meats; we check in at The White Horse following a stunning refurbishment; and we preview the Casual Dining Restaurant & Pub Awards.
The third London restaurant for the award-winning Zelman Meats brand has opened, bringing a contemporary take on the traditional Chop House to the city. Brought to the market in 2015 by the group behind Goodman, Burger & Lobster and Beast, Zelman Meats has quickly established itself as a premier destination for eating, drinking and socialising. Zelman Meats St Pauls carries on the brand’s most popular elements, from the menu to the restaurants design, with a few new twists for good measure.
Meanwhile, Bespoke Hotels has completed a substantial refurbishment and expansion program of Dorking’s historic The White Horse. Totalling over £4 million, works encompassed the property’s accommodation, including a comprehensive remodelling and the addition of 16 new bedrooms. In addition to this, was a total re-design of the ground floor restaurant, bar, events and public spaces at the property – introducing a stylish and affordable destination hotel, café and restaurant offering to Dorking for the first time.
And finally, over 80 restaurant and pub operators from across the UK are now one step closer to being crowned the nation’s best, following the announcement of the Casual Dining Restaurant & Pub Awards shortlist. The awards, organised by Diversified Communications UK, recognise and celebrate the standout restaurant and pub operators of the year across the growing multi-billion pound casual dining sector. Judges for the 2018 awards include Bob Ivell, Chairman of Mitchells & Butlers; Karen Forrester, CEO of TGI Friday’s UK; Mark Fox, CEO of Bill’s; Keith Bird, COO at GBK and Nate Nicholls, Chief Executive of The Association of Licensed Multiple Retailers.
