Having joined the hotel just one year ago, director of sales Christine Clark, has been visibly driving the strength of Wychwood Park Hotel & Golf Club forward with her unerring enthusiasm and passion, which has now been recognised in her shortlist for the Meetings Industry Association’s miaList 2018.
The miaList celebrates individuals within the hospitality, meetings and events industry who are shown to be outstanding and passionate, going above and beyond at every opportunity.
Christine has been instrumental in the reinvigoration of the hotel, applying her 19 years of industry experience to the challenge. Much of her skill and knowledge has been invaluable in her successful development of new initiatives for the venue and led to a speedy promotion from sales manager to director of sales, after just six months in position.
Reflecting on her shortlist nomination, Christine said; “I’m thrilled to have been nominated and hugely appreciate all of the support the team have given me throughout this past year. It’s been a lot of fun working at Wychwood Park. A lot of hard work of course, but the team are all so keen to get involved and try new things that it has been a delight to help raise the profile of this fantastic venue.”

After a round of interviews in September, the shortlist will be judged by a team of industry experts, with the winner of the miaList 2018 being announced at a ceremony in London, on Friday 2 November 2018.
