Elegant and contemporary café Feya has opened its first site, in the heart of London. Thoughtfully designed with marble textures, florals and pastel interiors, Feya opened in May offering exquisite patisserie, tea and coffee alongside a breakfast menu.

Located at 23 James Street in Marylebone, the Feya concept focuses on an array of stunning patisserie to include handmade tarts, pastries, and cakes priced from £4.50, which will rotate based on seasonal influences.

The patisserie menu has been created by Zahra Khan who brings together her lifelong passion for baking and her love for art to Feya. Zahra was 10 years old when she baked her first cake from scratch and since then her passion for baking has only flourished and bloomed by working at several establishments in Toronto and London. In 2015, Zahra graduated from Gordon Ramsay’s private school Tante Marie, with a Le Cordon Bleu diploma as well as winning the award for the best celebration cake.

The café seats 31 guests inside with a further six seats outside for guests wanting to enjoy the sunshine. The menu is available to eat in or takeaway. The interior design of the space was led by Shed Design. A café window beautifully showcases the patisserie offering beneath a white cherry blossom tree that cascades throughout the entire interior, inviting guests to relax and enjoy the calming atmosphere.Bespoke stylised and beautiful butterflies are also present throughout Feya’s cafe alongside brass and marble tap tops giving a minimalist and natural feel to the interiors.

Shed Design has been designing and delivering environments for some of the world’s leading companies since 2000. Shed work across retail, leisure, workplace and exhibition markets, specialising in branded interior design. The company has designed, developed and managed highly successful projects in over 30 countries.

As well as the patisserie offering, Feya is home to a breakfast menu created by Virpi Mikonnen a recipe artist, best-selling cook book author, a food stylist and photographer. It includes smoothie bowls and avocado on toast while the drinks menu is the home for boutique tea brand Kusmi and London’s Ozone coffee. The menu accommodates for dietary requirements offering gluten free variations of the menu in addition to vegetarian and vegan options as well as dairy free alternatives.

Since opening the café has received excellent reviews and has already attracted a significant folloing on Instagram. To find out more about Feya, please visit
