This Month in Premier Retail 2-7

Welcome to Premier Retail – the premier construction tool for the retail industry.

In this month’s issue we take a look at Retail EXPO; we highlight a new omnichannel boutique for Tiffany & Co. Covent Garden; and we take a look at GAIL’s Bakery.

Retail Design Expo (RDE), the UK’s leading event for innovation in retail design, marketing and VM from Reed Exhibitions, will combine with Retail Digital Signage Expo (RDSE) and Retail Business Technology Expo (RBTE), Europe’s largest retail solutions show, as one unified show for 2019, to mirror the transformation being seen in the retail industry and better meet the needs of its show audiences. Reed’s three retail shows will transform into a single event, RetailEXPO, to bring together over 15,000 retailers, brands, retail design businesses and tech exhibitors to the 2019 show, taking place on 1 – 2 of May at London’s Olympia. The move to unify three of Europe’s leading retail trade shows from Reed Exhibitions was based on extensive independent research, talking to over 150 senior retailers and brands that represent the shows’ audiences – from CEOs to sole traders, from multinationals to small independent shops as well as pureplay and omnichannel businesses.

Meanwhile, fit-out specialist Portview, has completed a brand-new boutique for luxury jeweller Tiffany & Co. in the heart of London’s Covent Garden. As a concept like no other for the brand, the new store is designed to encourage creative interaction and play. The Covent Garden concept store embodies Tiffany’s trailblazing attitude towards modern jewellery styling: embracing individuality and the art of self-expression.

And finally, GAIL’s Bakery opened the doors of its latest store at Southbank Place. GAIL’s Bakery brings an award-winning range of freshly-baked bread, pastries and cakes, as well as a brunch menu. From its first opening in 2005, GAIL’s has maintained its core ethos of everyday baking using the best ingredients that can be sourced.

With all this and much more inside, please join us as we explore the projects which continue to shape the retail sector.
