The Ivy Collection comes to Manchester
The Ivy Spinningfields was the largest restaurant to open in the UK in 2018 with space for approximately 535 covers over four unique floors.
The Ivy Spinningfields has opened in Manchester, offering Mancunians a totally new dining experience set across four fabulous floors in the city’s financial district. The restaurant features a ground floor brasserie, first floor private dining room, an opulent Asian bar and restaurant on the second floor and a sumptuous Roof Garden featuring fire pits and lush foliage on the top floor. The Ivy Spinningfields occupies an impressive timber framed space within new development, The Pavilion, surrounded by greenery yet located in the heart of the city.
Situated on the ground floor is a traditional Ivy brasserie, open all day, seven days a week, serving modern British classics to suit all occasions. All-encompassing menus feature a variety of dishes including truffled orzo pasta, lobster, linguine and slow-cooked lamb shoulder.
On the first-floor, The Dalton Room is available for those seeking a more exclusive experience, accommodating parties of up to twenty seated guests. The private room will be available to book seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as standing receptions. With its floor to ceiling glass walls, guests will be able to enjoy natural lighting and views across Spinningfields.
The second floor of The Ivy Spinningfields houses the first ever ‘The Ivy Asian’ – a glamorous bar and restaurant, serving Asian-inspired cocktails alongside dishes such as Wagyu beef with truffle sauce, salmon fillet teriyaki and avocado, crispy tofu, lime and ginger dressing. The entire floor is illuminated with a show-stopping green, semi-precious stone floor, set against a striking antique gold mirrored bar, gold-gilt ceiling and luxurious Asian fabrics. The Geisha Room, a stunning private room with bespoke mirrored artwork is also available to hire privately.
On the top floor is Manchester’s first Roof Garden. With a fully retractable roof, the spectacular space is open all year round. Guests can enjoy food and cocktails alongside an abundance of planting, greenery and foliage, roaring fire pits and colourful fabrics, all creating an enchanting oasis in the heart of Manchester.
Over the coming year, the restaurant will host an exciting mix of yet to be announced guest DJs, events and entertainment on each of its four floors. Reservations can be made for all floors, whilst walk-ins will be welcomed for those wishing to experience the Ivy Brasserie, ‘The Ivy Asian’ or Roof Garden.
The restaurant’s General Manager is Kate Cooper, whilst additional senior members of the team include Steve Scoullar as Senior Head Chef, Jason Annette as Head Chef and Luke Mason as Bar Manager.
Baton Berisha, Director of Operations for The Ivy Collection said: “We are incredibly proud to bring The Ivy Collection to Manchester. Situated within the heart of Spinningfields, Manchester’s luxury dining and shopping quarter, we can’t wait to showcase our different floors, dining concepts and offering to our guests.
