Conscious Chocolate Relaunch for Spring Following Investment from Fortissimo Group
Written by Amy

Pairing a sumptuously smooth and creamy experience with premium organic quality, Conscious Chocolate is back this spring with new investment from Fortissimo Group. The investment is designed to further the appeal of the raw chocolate category with improvements including reformulated recipes, brand re-‐designs, NPD and increased marketing support.

The new recipes include the replacement of fructose-‐heavy agave syrup with coconut blossom sugar, which boasts a higher level of vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients, while the high-‐quality cacao ensures the chocolate’s ‘snap’, making it residue-‐free on fingers while eating. Launched in 2004 by Founder and Recipe Developer, Emma Jackman, Conscious Chocolate was the original raw chocolate on the market, and has developed a succession of winning flavours including Orange & Tangerine, Peppermint and the iconic Love Potion No.9, while preserving an unmistakably creamy taste, not usually found in raw confectionery products.

Conscious Chocolate bars have also been resized from 50g to 60g (bucking the trend amongst most larger chocolate manufacturers), are complete with compostable packaging and film and will maintain their original price points.

High in fibre and suitable for coeliacs and vegans, Conscious Chocolate’s renewed vigour showcases a delicious step towards bringing healthier chocolate into the mainstream, without sparing the exquisite flavour and unmistakeable qualities of more visible brands.

Ideal as a healthy alternative for devout chocolate-‐lovers, as well as millennials looking for something new and authentic, Conscious Chocolate officially relaunched at the Natural and Organic Products Show at ExCel London, April 7th 2019.

Conscious Chocolate is created using ethically-‐sourced ingredients.
