On 19th August, the fourth in Elite Bistros’ portfolio, Wreckfish, is collaborating with Michelin star restaurant, the Fordwich Arms for an exclusive six-course dinner. The menu is priced at £55 per person with an optional wine flight available.
Awarded a Michelin star just 10 months after opening, the acclaimed Fordwich Arms based in Kent is coming to Liverpool for a collaborative dinner with Liverpool’s Wreckfish for one night only on Monday 19th August from 7pm.
Guests will enjoy a selection of the Fordwich Arms’ signature dishes, as well as Elite Bistros’ famed custard tart. Full menu is as follows:
Sour light rye, Lincolnshire Poacher butter
Duck liver parfait, Kentish cherry, Sauternes & warm doughnuts
Barbecued Scottish langoustine, brown butter & white currant
Stour Valley guinea fowl, smoked potato and parsley, coco beans & truffle
Gusbourne granite with rose, blackcurrant and lemon curd
The Fordwich Arms’ team coming along to Wreckfish includes sous chef, Kieran Bellerby, who was a member of the opening lineup at Wreckfish’s sister site, Hispi in Didsbury before moving over to Kent.
Operations Manager of Elite Bistros, Gareth Jones, comments: “It’s going to be a real pleasure having Hispi original, Kieran, cooking with us again, even if it is for one night only. We’re really looking forward to him bringing the Michelin star team to Liverpool for what’s going to be a really special evening of exceptional food and wine.”
