Dezeen Launches Dezeen Day
Written by Amy

Dezeen is launching an international architecture, interiors and design conference called Dezeen Day. The first edition will be held in London on 30 October.

The conference will set the agenda for the global design community, tackling key topics including circular design, new materials and education. It will also highlight new talent from around the world and feature a keynote lecture from a leading international figure.

Dezeen Day is set to quickly become a key fixture in the annual design calendar, globally recognised for its democratic debates, championing the international changemakers and getting to the heart of the issues we’re facing across the world.

Dezeen Day will take place at a prestigious central London location on the same day as the Dezeen Awards winners’ party, where award winners from around the world will receive their trophies.

“Dezeen’s mission is to set the agenda for the world’s design community,” said founder and editor-in-chief Marcus Fairs. “Dezeen Day will allow us to put our editorial values on a stage, where we will explore the most pressing issues facing designers.”

The conference will feature a mixture of panel discussions, keynote lectures, interactive presentations and movie screenings. The event is also designed to appeal to business leaders, opinion formers, policy makers, media and anyone with an interest in the importance of design and how it can improve the world.

Further details including talks schedule and ticket prices will be announced soon at dezeen.com/dezeenday.

Dezeen Day is the latest addition to Dezeen’s quickly growing portfolio of products and services, which include Dezeen Awards – a global awards programme championing the world’s most outstanding architecture, interiors and design, Dezeen Jobs – the first global online jobs website for the sector and Dezeen Studio – its award-winning in-house creative studio.
