Lefay Resorts

Lefay Resorts has opened their second luxury eco spa resort in Italy. The new resort is in a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Italian Dolomites in the ski area of Madonna di Campiglio, the largest in the Trentino region. The new sustainable mountain resort offers Lefay’s award winning wellness method combining classical Chinese medicine with modern Western techniques.

It is a modernist mountain hideaway cradled in the Dolomites, and represents a new level of mountain lodge. With sharp architecture, all triangles, zig-zag lines and wooden accents reflecting the peaks and forests outside, it truly brings the outside in.

It features 88 Suites, two restaurants, bars, ski and bike rooms and a 5,000 sqm Lefay SPA including swimming pools, relaxation areas, saunas and treatment rooms, making this one of the largest spas in the entire Alpine region.

Signature treatments use their own Lefay SPA philosophy and the resort’s new SPA menu includes pre and post ski and hiking massages, as well as classes for releasing tension and stretching muscles, as well as state-of-the-art gym equipment to improve strength, balance, flexibility and core stability. The wet area includes a sports swimming pool, an indoor/outdoor pool and a zone of saunas and steam baths of varying temperatures.

Suites range from a Junior Suite to the exclusive Royal Pool & Spa Suite featuring a private treatment zone, two saunas, and indoor and outdoor whirlpools. They offer views of the valleys and dramatic peaks or  views over the woods surrounding the resort, showing  5,000 square metres of natural wellbeing and innovation, where Eastern and Western influences blend together. All of the suites are sleek, light-filled and utterly restful spaces.

While perfect for relaxation, Lefay Resort & SPA Dolomiti invites guests to actively explore the natural beauty of the surrounding UNESCO World Heritage Site. Skiers have 150 kilometres of slopes and four snowboard parks across the ski area of Madonna di Campiglio; ideal for skiers of all levels. During the summer months, the region provides great hiking trails, mountain biking and horse riding, and closer to the hotel, gold courses.

Lefay Resort & SPA Dolomiti is consistent with the Brand’s philosophy of reinterpreting the traditional architecture of the place taking style inspiration from the local mountain buildings. All the materials chosen, from the wood, stone and simplicity of the finishes, reflect the natural perfection of the Dolomites. The Resort, ClimaHotel certified, has been conceived following two fundamental guidelines: the containment of energy need, through a high level of insulation of all surfaces, and the use of renewable energy sources with high production systems such as a biomass furnace and a co-generation plant.

The restaurants serve seasonal, organic produce with an Italian culinary heritage.  The Organic Restaurant offers ethical dishes and food from organic certified producers.  The main Restaurant, with views over the mountains, features traditional recipes and contemporary Italian flavours. Both restaurants at Lefay artfully combine traditional flavours and regional ingredients with contemporary thinking.

The resort also features 22 Wellness Residences with direct access to the wellness area and the two restaurants.
