The Laura Ashely rebrand at Burnham Beeches Hotel

Burnham Beeches Hotel, located in South Buckinghamshire, has revealed a first look at its new Laura Ashley designed bedrooms as it begins its transformation to rebrand as a Laura Ashley Hotel. The four-star hotel is currently undergoing a major refurbishment and later this year will become the third hotel in the Laura Ashley Hotels portfolio.

Framed by elegant Georgian architecture and ten acres of manicured lawns and gardens in tranquil Buckinghamshire, Burnham Beeches Hotel merges classical style with peaceful country manor ambiance to create a truly unique travel experience in Slough. The hotel is located near the largest trading estate in Europe, Windsor, Windsor Castle and attractions like Royal Ascot and Legoland.
The newly refurbished 82 bedrooms are light and airy, featuring Laura Ashley Elmley Steel wallpaper, complemented by a contemporary colour palette of tones of cool grey and deep charcoal with scatterings of striking red and turquoise.

The rooms are elegantly decorated with accessories from the Laura Ashley home furnishings range, including large gold circular mirrors and antique-style brass glass frame pendant lights. Retro-style radios and telephones in each room give a nod to the building’s history, while unique art give the rooms a sense of luxury. For example; Beech Forest I, c.1902 art work by Gustav Klimt was chosen to reference the beautiful grounds and trees surrounding the hotel.

Every detail has been considered in the bedrooms, with little luxuries including a Nespresso machine and robes and slippers to ensure complete relaxation in the Buckinghamshire countryside that surrounds it. Other amenities in each room include guest comforts, including complimentary Wi-Fi, a plasma television with cable and satellite programming and 24-hour room service. Fitness and wellness facilities offer relaxation and re-invigoration with an indoor swimming pool, a Jacuzzi, a sauna and a gymnasium.

Dining is a vital part of the Burnham Beeches Hotel guest experience. In keeping with the hotel’s classic sense of style, their 2AA Rosette Oak Restaurant delivers an award-winning fine dining experience distinguished by traditional British dishes and a sumptuous breakfast. The Georgian Bar & Lounge is where friends and colleagues gather over homemade light fare available until 10.00 pm and cocktails are served 24/7.

The beautiful interior design will soon be extended across the rest of the hotel, showcasing the Laura Ashley Home range and its exquisite, inherently high-quality British fabrics and furnishings, to create a luxurious designer destination. Rebecca Fewings, Marketing Manager for Laura Ashley Hotels, said:

“We’re delighted that the first steps have begun to transform Burnham Beeches Hotel as it joins the Laura Ashley Hotels portfolio later this year. A thorough refurbishment is underway and outline planning permission has been agreed. It is a very exciting time for the hotel.”

The Laura Ashley Hotel portfolio, which also includes The Belsfield Hotel, Windermere, and soon to include The Chace Hotel in Coventry from July 2019, aims to offer guests an authentic home from home experience against the backdrop of the Laura Ashley Home range in characterful properties in the UK.
