Verdant Leisure receives highest accreditation from Best Companies

Verdant Leisure places in top three companies to work for North East

Bespoke holiday park operator, Verdant Leisure, is delighted to announce it has been awarded 3 Stars by Best Companies. The 3 Star accreditation is the highest position of recognition that a company can achieve with Best Companies demonstrating extraordinary levels of workplace engagement and confirms that the company genuinely values its people.

Since January 2019, Verdant Leisure has increased investment in training and development across all of its nine holiday parks and Lancaster based head office. A commitment to outstanding customer service remains at the core of the company’s values.

The company has developed an internal brand just for its staff, ‘Team Verdant’, with employees now able to enjoy fantastic offers and discounts from high street stores as well as an annual holiday on one of its parks so that they, and their families, can experience the brand from a customer’s viewpoint.  The holiday park operator celebrates and recognise its staff’s achievements through a monthly ‘Verdant Stars’ programme and annual Team Conference.

The certification was awarded after 77% of Verdant Leisure’s employees completed a confidential survey asking them to reflect and comment on their experience with their employer. A sophisticated analysis then measured how engaged employees are at work.
